Lexington, SC (WLTX) - A Lexington County suspect is facing charges after a collision that took the life of a newborn baby.
Andalyn Mills, 31, is charged with felony DUI resulting in death.
Around 12:40 p.m. on February 13, state troopers say Mills was driving down Two Notch Road when her car hit a another vehicle head-on.
The passenger in that other vehicle was 28 weeks pregnant, and immediately went into labor. She was taken to the hospital, and delivered the baby, but the child died several days after being born.
The driver of the car the pregnant woman was in also suffered injuries.
