Everyone's favorite ogre sets off on a quest to save Princess Fiona from a dragon. However, it turns out that in order to ultimately succeed, Shrek must battle an even bigger obstacle: learning how to believe in himself and open his heart to others.
Shrek the Musical JR is based on the beloved Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, and features a cast of fairy tale favorites, including Donkey, Pinocchio, the Ugly Duckling, the Wicked Witch, Peter Pan, the Three Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf, and the villainous Lord Farquaad.
Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek the Musical JR is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.

Shrek the Musical JR has multiple performances most days so your family can be sure to join in the fun. Show times are Thursday, June 21 at 7 pm; Friday, June 22 at 3 pm and 7 pm; Saturday, June 23 at 10:30 am, 3 pm, and 7 pm; and Sunday June 24 at 3 pm and 7 pm. All performances will be at Hammond School's theatre, located at 854 Galway Lane, Columbia, SC 29209 (behind the VA Medical Center).
General admission tickets for Shrek the Musical JR go on sale Tuesday, June 12 and can be purchased online at workshoptheatre.com, by calling the Box Office at 803-799-6551, or at the door the day of the show. Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $10 for children 17 and under.
