CBS soaps to air overnight due to impeachment coverage

Young and the Restless and the Bold and the Beautiful will air in the early morning hours.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — CBS News' continuing coverage of the Senate impeachment trial meant Thursday's episodes of the soaps did not air.

However, they've been rescheduled to air overnight on WLTX:

Young & The Restless at 1:37 a.m. Friday morning

Bold & The Beautiful at 2:37 a.m.

CBS and the other broadcast networks have been airing hours of coverage of the Senate impeachment trial. That's caused disruption of daytime shows.

On most days, CBS has elected to air a re-broadcast of Young and the Restless and Bold & the Beautiful, but that can vary depending on whether or not the West Coast was able to see the episode. The decision is made daily, so check back with WLTX.com and our broadcasts for the latest information.
