$300,000 lottery ticket sold in South Carolina set to expire soon

The winning ticket must be claimed at the Columbia Claims Center before 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Next week, a Palmetto Cash 5 ticket worth $300,000 sold in the Midlands is set to expire.

If you purchased a Palmetto Cash 5 ticket from the EZ Trip #2 at 5290 Five Chop Rd. in Santee in December, you should check your tickets.  

It was purchased for the December 29 drawing and matched all five numbers drawn. Adding Power-Up for an additional $1 tripled the prize to $300,000.

The winning ticket must be claimed at the Columbia Claims Center before 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26. 

If the prize is not claimed, the $300,000 winnings will be deposited in the Education Lottery account to support educational programs in South Carolina.
