(WLTX) -- Margaret Brennan, moderator of CBS' "Face the Nation" has revealed she is pregnant with her first child.
In an interview on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," Brennan, 38, announced her and husband Major Yado Jakub are expecting a baby boy in September.
"I do have some breaking personal news," said Brennan on 'The Late Show. "My husband and I are going to be welcoming a baby in September. A baby boy."
Colbert then gave Brennan a onesie for the child, and offered advice "to get some sleep now."
Brennan became the moderator of "Face the Nation" in February, replacing John Dickerson, who began anchoring "CBS This Morning." She is also the network's senior foreign affairs correspondent.
She joined CBS in 2012.
"Face the Nation" airs Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. on WLTX.
