MARION, Ohio — A 56-year-old man is injured after being run over by a monster truck at an event in Marion County Saturday evening.
According to the Marion County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened shortly after 8 p.m. at the Monster Truck Wars event at the Marion County Fairgrounds Coliseum. A man was working with the event's safety staff when one of the trucks appeared to back up and hit the man.
He was taken to Marion General Hospital and was later flown to Grant Medical Center. The man's condition is unknown at this time.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
