COLUMBIA, S.C. — President Joe Biden has announced his list of nominees for the United States Tax Court on February 1.

Making the list is South Carolinian Adam Landry. Landry has been serving as a Special Trial Judge on the United States Tax Court since 2021.

He is a graduate of University of South Carolina, receiving his BS in 2004, his MS in 2006, and his JD in 2009.

In 2008, Landry clerked for Judge J Michelle Childs on the South Carolina Circuit Court and was an associate at McNair Law Firm, PA, from 2010-2016.

From 2016-2021, Landry was a senior attorney with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Office of Chief Counsel in Baltimore and San Francisco.

Biden's nominees now go to the Senate. If confirmed, Landry will serve a fifteen year term.
