If you want to save on a tree the best time to buy is later in December prices drop as most people already have a tree up. But if you want to put one up early, it’s best to buy this week before real tree prices spike around Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Just make sure to keep it properly watered all season long to avoid fire danger.
Also, when you’re shopping, now is a good time to support Western North Carolina. Some of the tree farms up there faced widespread damage after Hurricane Helene.
