Before Necole Vidro's kids head back to school, she has to head to Walmart. School districts across the Midlands are mailing out their school supply lists."I just couldn't believe it! I don't see why they need all this for the first grade," says Vidro. Everything from pencils and paper, to Ziploc bags and waterless soap made the list.Vidro says it's a lot to buy for her children, and the whole classroom to share.Richland School District Two leaders say every little bit helps. The supply list is not mandatory, but is sent out as a guide for parents.Some parents find the list helpful, and don't mind that some of the supplies get passed around.As for Vidro, she says the District should pitch in more money, instead of passing the cost on to parents.
