Charlotte, NC (WCNC) - The burger restaurant founded by Chef Paul Wahlberg and celebrity brothers Mark and Donnie Wahlberg will soon have a location in Charlotte.
In March of 2016, it was reported that Wahlburgers would have a new location in Charlotte, becoming one of four planned locations in the Carolinas. On Monday, the Queen City location was reported by several outlets.
According to the Charlotte Business Journal, the Boston-based restaurant’s Charlotte location will be in The Village at Robinson Farm in Ballantyne. The nearly 6,000-square-foot building was the former location of Lure Oyster Bar.
According to Wahlburgers’s website, there are plans to open a location in Raleigh, as well. There’s also a location in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The Charlotte location is expected to open next year, but no further details have been made available.
