Mysterious monolith appears in Colorado

Since 2020, strange objects have appeared in Nevada, Utah and California. Now the mystery has deepened with a shiny monolith in Colorado.

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. — A strange monolith has appeared in northern Colorado.

The shiny, tall, rectangular object appeared in a field about 70 miles north of Denver in Larimer County on Wednesday.

The monolith was discovered on private property about two miles north of Horsetooth Reservoir in Larimer County.

The unusual monolith drew crowds of curious onlookers as people wonder where it came from.

Colorado's monolith appeared just days after another monolith appeared in a remote mountain range near Las Vegas.

The Nevada monolith was removed quickly because of public safety and environmental concerns. Las Vegas police said how the monolith got there remains unsolved.

A series of mysterious columns have popped up since at least 2020.

In November 2020, a metal monolith was found in Utah’s red-rock desert. Then came sightings in Romania, central California, New Mexico and on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas.

All of them disappeared as quickly as they popped up, adding to the lore.
