Camden boys' tennis team claims second state title in dominant fashion

Camden High School's boys' tennis team won their second state championship and finished the season with a record of 13-2.

CAMDEN, S.C. — The Camden Boys tennis team made history over the weekend in dominant fashion.

The Bulldogs defeated Daniel 5-1 to win the Class 3A State Title at the Florence Tennis Center.

It is the program's second state championship and first since winning it in 1992.

The title is the second for the school this season as Camden's girls' basketball team defeated Wren in March.

The Bulldogs defeated Beaufort, Waccamaw, and Philip Simmons in the postseason to make it to the championship game. Camden finishes the season 13-2.
