CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Charleston Southern has introduced former Miami and South Carolina assistant Barclay Radebaugh as its new men's basketball coach.Radebaugh replaces Jim Platt, who resigned three weeks ago to become an assistant at Army. Radebaugh was an assistant on Frank Haith's staff at Miami last season.Radebaugh says the chance to coach at the Division I level and Charleston Southern's Christian values made the school the perfectfit.Radebaugh was the head coach at Queens in Charlotte for the 2003-2004 season. He has been an assistant at Winthrop, USC, Furman, Wofford and East Tennessee State.Radebaugh says he has some ideas of what he would like to do with his coaching staff and plans to move forward with that in the next few days.
