(WLTX) --- The ACC has released its Preseason All-Conference team and Clemson leads the league with five players on the list.
Preseason Player of the Year Deshaun Watson is joined on the All-ACC preseason squad by offensive guard Eric Mac Lain, defensive end Shaq Lawson and receivers Artavis Scott and Lake Marion graduate Mike Williams.
Watson threw for 1,466 yards and 14 touchdowns despite being limited to eight games and five starts last season due to injuries.
Williams earned Second-Team All-ACC honors in 2014 and enters his junior season as a member of the Biletnikoff Award Watch List. He had 57 receptions for a team-high 1,030 yards and six touchdowns in 2014.
On Thursday afternoon, Clemson announced Watson was on the watch list for the Manning Award which goes to college football's top quarterback. It is the only national award which takes into account games from the post-season.
