DALLAS — Olivia Thompson came to South Carolina after an All-State season at Lexington where she is the program's all-time leading scorer.
The former walk-on has been a constant presence in the program. On a roster that features All-Americans and All-SEC players, Olivia is more than content in her role as the unselfish teammate who pays the price in practice for those moments when her number is called.
Thompson is in her senior season and she could very well choose to end her career with a second consecutive national championship. She has already been a part of three straight trips to the Final Four and if she chooses to not take a COVID year, Thompson has a lifetime of memories that have been created in these past four seasons.
