Jensen Castle gets ready for her third appearance in the Augusta National Women's Amateur

The Gray Collegiate Academy graduate was the 2021 U.S. Women's Amateur Champion and she is seeking her third consecutive made cut at the elite tournament.

AUGUSTA, Ga. — If Jensen Castle is to earn her first top 10 finish in the Augusta National Women's Amateur, it will have to be this week because this will be her third and final appearance at this elite event.

The Gray Collegiate Academy graduate is in her fifth and final season at the University of Kentucky and next month, she will turn pro after the college golf season ends.

Jensen has made the final round of the ANWA in her previous two appearances, recording a tie for 12th in her debut in 2022 and a tie for 26th last season.

The 2021 U.S. Amateur Champion, Jensen says she still draws on that experience for an event like this which features the best amateurs in the world and she expects the time she has spent at Champions Retreat Golf Club and the Augusta National Golf Club will serve her well when she plays in her final event in the colors of Kentucky blue.
