COLUMBIA, S.C. — It has been quite a busy week for the staff at the Fort Jackson Golf Club.
On Sunday, the Midlands Chevy Dealers City Golf Tournament concluded and then on Monday, the final day of the World Long Drive competition was held.
In the Open Division, World No. 4 Colton Casto defeated defending World Champion Kyle Berkshire with a 386-yard drive.
This is Casto’s third win of the season. His longest drive of the entire weekend was 405 yards (tied for 3rd-longest among all hitters) and he averaged 378 yards per drive during the event.
