BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. — The Columbia Country Club in Blythewood provided quite the test for the 5A golfers and Blythewood junior Caroline Hawkins was up to the challenge.
Hawkins shot a combined 5-under par 67 over 36 holes to win the state 5A individual state title for the third consecutive year. Hawkins won this year's title by seven strokes.
Dorman won its third consecutive state championship (647) with River Bluff finishing a program-best runner-up with a 659 total, one better than Lexington. Blythewood finished fifth in the team standings with a 36-hole score of 693.
