Chapin, SC (WLTX) --- His father was a two-time state wrestling champion at Chapin High School and now, Trent Hodges is carving out his own patch as a wrestler for the Eagles.
Trent is a member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society and is another in a long line of Chapin wrestlers who have excelled on the mat and in the classroom.
He says the discipline he has developed as a wrestler is very similar to what is needed to excel in the academic arena. Chapin wrestling coach Ken Wilson says Trent sets an example in all facets of his life which the coach uses to motivate the younger wrestlers on the Chapin squad.
