W.J. Keenan senior is not quite through playing football for the Raiders

While he maintains solid numbers in the classroom, Thomas Lovett is also getting ready for another home playoff game.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Thomas Lovett and the rest of the W.J. Keenan senior players were on the field last Friday night for the first home playoff game for the school since 2014.

After taking care of business, the Raiders will be back home this Friday to face Orangeburg-Wilkinson in the second round of the Class 3A playoffs.

In the classroom, Thomas has a 3.2 grade point average and according to head football coach Jarrett Neely, Thomas is more than willing to offer a helping hand to any teammates who need help in a particular class.
