COLUMBIA, S.C. — The state’s top prospect for the 2020 class was at the South Carolina-Missouri game with Will Muschamp as his personal escort.
Hammond’s Jordan Burch, who is one of the top rated defensive ends in the country, sat behind the Gamecock bench next to the Gamecock head football coach.
National signing day is this Wednesday and Burch committed to the Gamecocks in a nationally televised ceremony at his school back in December. But the reigning national champion LSU Tigers have continued their pursuit. They even had Burch and his family in for a recent visit. So, it was Muschamp’s turn to make his final pitch to Burch who will sign Wednesday with the rest of his Hammond Skyhawk teammates.
