A former defensive lineman at USC, Langston Moore was a sixth-round draft pick by the Bengals. He spent seven years in the NFL playing for the Cardinals and Lions before finishing up his NFL career with the team that drafted him.
For the past six seasons, Langston has served as the sideline reporter for the Gamecock Radio Network. In that capacity, he has his microphone on the field for the pre-game coin toss and during the broadcast, he will provide injury updates and trends that he observes from the sideline.
At halftime is Langston's most important 30 second window as he gets a few questions to USC head coach Will Muschamp who is making a bee line to the locker room. But Langston asks concise questions as to maximize his limited time with the head coach.
For Langston, he is following in the footsteps of his father who is a former radio announcer. Now the younger Moore is talking to a statewide audience each Saturday in the fall.
