A huge congrats goes out to the Carolina Cavs. The 12U boys team recently won the Division 2 AAU National Championship in Hampton, Virginia at the Boo Williams Sports Complex.
The 6th grade defeated the Virginia Dreamchasers 61-43. All the Cavs players are from Columbia, Hopkins, Eastover and surrounding areas. That's kind of rare for an AAU team to have all local products on one squad out of South Carolina.
The team motto is "That Work" and the Cavs put in that work for the national title. Congrats to the Cavs.
