SAN ANTONIO — If you blinked, you missed getting a pair of San Antonio Spurs' Victor Wembanyama's first signature sneakers.
Wemby's player edition "alien" sneakers (GT Hustle) sold out in minutes, leaving many fans empty-handed.
But there is good news and bad news.
You can still get a pair on the secondary market, such as eBay, if you miss out. The bad news is that the Wemby sneakers are on the secondary market at inflated prices.
The sneakers retail for $170 on Nike or other primary marketplaces such as Footlocker. However, there is a significant upcharge on eBay (the secondary market).
It remains to be seen if Nike will restock the new kicks at a later date.
Wemby debuted his signature sneakers during the 2024 NBA All-Star Break and has been highly anticipated to hit shelves.
