CLEMSON, S.C. — For the third time this week, a member of the Clemson baseball team has earned All-American honors.
Senior infielder Blake Wright was named Third Team All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association.
He became Clemson’s 69th All-American in history and joined Cam Cannarella and Aidan Knaak as the Tigers’ three All-Americans in 2024.
A semifinalist for the Dick Howser Trophy and Golden Spikes Award, Wright was used defensively at third base and second base this past season as the Tigers advanced to the Super Regionals.
The team co-captain led the team with 87 hits, a .340 batting average, 75 runs batted in and 68 runs scored. He was tied for the team lead with 22 home runs.
