CLEMSON, S.C. — For the first time since 2010, Clemson is in the Super Regionals.
The Tigers went 3-0 in last week's regional to move them to the point of the season where they are two wins from the College World Series.
Standing in the way are the Florida Gators which much like last week's regional opponent Coastal Carolina, Florida was one of those teams who received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament but not without some questions as to whether they belonged in the field of 64.
That question was answered at the Stillwater Regional and now the stage is set for the first meeting on the diamond between Clemson and Florida since 1983 and the first meeting in Clemson since 1930.
Game one is set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday with Sunday's game two scheduled to start at 2:30.
