CLEMSON, S.C. — When one is trying to figure out why the Clemson offense is one of the nation's best statistically, head coach Dabo Swinney traces a lot of that success to the running ability of quarterback Cade Klubnik.
The junior has been quite affective giving the Tigers a true dual threat which was not the case for the most part in 2023. Klubnik currently is second on the team in rushing with 227 yards and five touchdowns, including a career-long 55 yard touchdown run against N.C. State.
The Tiger offense has come to life after the season opening loss to Georgia which saw the orange held to 188 total yards and a field goal.
Since then, Clemson is averaging 48.5 points per game and a big reason is Klubnik's increase in rushing yards and decrease in negative plays and turnovers.
