After major adversity hits Clemson, the head coach expects his team will respond

While Clemson no longer controls its own destiny in terms of playing for an ACC title, the Tigers plan on running through the tape and finishing the 2024 season.

CLEMSON, S.C. — The fallout from Clemson's loss at home to Louisville continued this week as the Tigers fell from 11th to 19th in the Associated Press Top 25.

In his Tuesday news conference, head coach Dabo Swinney lamented the fact that his team does not control its destiny in terms of playing for an ACC Championship.

But Swinney was adamant that his team does control how it responds to the first conference loss of the season. The Tigers will get a chance to get back on track Saturday when they travel to Blacksburg to face Virginia Tech.
