CLEMSON, S.C. — Clemson freshman cornerback Ashton Hampton had one of the defensive plays that will be, well, played over and over for the rest of the season.
Hampton recorded a one-handed interception in last Saturday's win at Virginia Tech. That play earned him a spot on ESPN's Top 10 Plays, at #3.
Head coach Dabo Swinney has been raving about Hampton for some time so while the interception is nice, the coach says Hampton has been trending in the right direction and that is helped in part because of how he can man several positions in the secondary.
