Clemson moves up in CFB Playoff Ranking

The Tigers slide up three spots to #20 in the second CFB Playoff Ranking.

CLEMSON, S.C. — Clemson has moved up in this weeks CFB Playoff Ranking, sliding up to 20th from 23rd.

The Tigers are ranked 17th in the AP Top 25 heading into this week's game at Pitt, the final ACC game of the 2024 season for the Tigers who are currently 7-2, 6-1 in the league.

After losing at home to Louisville, Clemson rallied from a 7-0 halftime deficit in Blacksburg to defeat Virginia Tech 24-14. The Tiger defense allowed just one late Hokie touchdown although the home team did score on a blocked field goal, an issue of protection which has been an issue for Clemson.

After the game at Pitt, the Tigers close out the regular season with home games against The Citadel and South Carolina.
