CLEMSON, S.C. — After finishing runner-up in the ACC Championship, the 17th-ranked Clemson women's golf team has learned that its NCAA road map will take it to the Bryan, Texas Regional which is set for May 6-8 with Texas A&M serving as the host school at the Traditions Club.
Coach Kelley Hester’s team will be one of 12 teams in the field with the top-five teams after 54 holes on stroke play advancing to the National Championship Tournament in Carlsbad, Calif., May 17-22.
This is Clemson’s eighth consecutive NCAA Women’s Golf Tournament and ninth selection in ten possible opportunities. The team missed the 2015 tournament and the COVID-19 pandemic canceled the 2020 tournament.
Last season, Clemson finished second at the regional in Pullman, Washington to advance to the National Tournament for the second time in school history. The Tigers would finish tied for 24th.
