CLEMSON, SC β After a record season for Clemson basketball one of their key players is coming back.
Friday night junior center Elijah Thomas announced that he will return for his senior season. Elijah is coming off the best year of his college career. He averaged 10.7 points and 8.1 rebounds and led the Tigers in blocks (79), field goal percentage (56%) and rebounds (283) which were career highs. He was also an All-ACC Defensive team selection.
Still waiting to hear official word from Marcquise Reed and Shelton Mitchell on whether or not they'll return but Brad Brownell has a certified big man to work with next season.
