WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. β KZ Adams is returning to the Palmetto State.
The former Gray Collegiate Academy star running back who spent two seasons at Georgia State is transferring to South Carolina State.
A Mr. Football finalist in 2021, Adams helped Gray Collegiate Academy win its first state championship in football. In that championship season, Adams led the nation in rushing with 3,343 yards and 42 touchdowns. In the win over Silver Bluff in the 2A state championship game, Adams rushed for 311 yards.
In his two seasons at Georgia State, Adams saw limited action and in late November, he announced he would be entering the NCAA transfer portal. In coming to South Carolina State, Adams will look to make an impression on new Bulldogs' head football coach Chennis Berry.
