South Carolina incoming freshman Joyce Edwards has added to her international brand.
The Camden product was named MVP of the FIBA U18 Women’s AmeriCup as she helped Team USA win the gold medal with a 80-69 win over Canada in the final game of the tournament in Bucaramanga, Colombia.
In the six games, Edwards averaged 14.2 points per game.
This is not the first gold medal for Edwards. She earned that honor last year while helping the U.S. win gold at the 2023 U19 World Cup.
