COLUMBIA, S.C. — With a 12-1 record, South Carolina will begin the SEC portion of the schedule with a high profile contest against Mississippi State.
The game tips off at noon and can be seen live on WLTX, the first game of a tripleheader of college basketball on CBS.
Mississippi State is 11-2 and like Carolina, is coming in with a five-game winning streak. This contest will be an early gauge for the Gamecocks who have defeated the likes of Virginia Tech and Notre Dame in the non-conference schedule.
