ALBANY, N.Y. — After South Carolina took care of business in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, the number one overall seed in the NCAA Women's Tournament has taken its act on the road to Albany, New York.
Carolina faces Indiana at 5:00 p.m. inside MVP Arena with an eye on advancing to the Elite Eight and then ultimately the Final Four which is in Cleveland.
Head coach Dawn Staley has led the team to a 34-0 record which means the Gamecocks are the only undefeated team in all of college basketball. There have been some close wins and one very close contest in Greenville, but the good news is the head coach feels her team is playing its best basketball right now as the calendar is quickly approaching April.
