COLUMBIA, S.C. — The kickoff times are set for the first three games of South Carolina's 2024 schedule and the first one is closer to an NFL start time on a Sunday afternoon.
Carolina will host Old Dominion on Saturday, August 31, at 4:15 p.m. on the SEC Network. The non-conference contest will be the first between the Gamecocks and Monarchs, who compete in Conference USA.
The following week's start time at Kentucky, 3:30 p.m., had previously been announced.
The SEC announced on Thursday the SEC home opener against LSU will kick off at 12:00 p.m. and will be televised by ABC. In the series between the Tigers and Gamecocks, LSU has a 19-2-1 advantage with the last meeting taking place in 2020. South Carolina’s last win over the Tigers came in Baton Rouge in 1994, while the first victory came in the very first meeting between the two schools, back in 1930 in Columbia.
South Carolina head football coach Shane Beamer enters his fourth season at the helm.
While other game times and television assignments for the 2024 season will be announced at a later date, the rest of the USC season follows:
