Summer School for LaNorris Sellers

Summer conditioning is the norm for college athletes, but USC's QB1 is taking his off-season to another level with help from a former Benedict College quarterback.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — It is safe to say LaNorris Sellers is not spending many days off actually taking a day off from football.

Case in point - his private workouts with former Benedict College quarterback Ramon Robinson who runs his Greenville-based RR Elite Quarterback Academy.

The South Florence product has been working with Robinson since LaNorris was around seven years of age and the relationship continues to this very day. Whenever Sellers has time, he and Robinson will get together for a two-hour session where LaNorris is put through the paces under the watchful eye of Robinson.

Sellers was announced as the top quarterback on the depth chart after spring practice ended and while Sellers has been taking part in the regular summer conditioning schedule with his Gamecock teammates, he wants to show marked improvement from his freshman season and with the added responsibility of his current status as QB1, LaNorris is going above and beyond a normal schedule as he gets ready for the 2024 campaign.
