COLUMBIA, S.C. — LaNorris Sellers spent the 2023 season navigating his way through a freshman season that saw him play in three games, recording two touchdown passes and another score on the gruond.
But with Spencer Rattler chasing his NFL dreams, it will likely be the LaNorris Sellers show this fall. Head coach Shane Beamer says Sellers has stepped out of his comfort zone and become more of a vocal presence which is a normal progression of what is required of Sellers from year one to year two.
As far as the quarterback room is concerned, there are players with more experience but Sellers is the most expereinced quarterback on the roster in terms of running the Dowell Loggains offense.
Sellers came from a winning program at South Florence in the Pee Dee where he won a state in his seniorseaon before leading the SC team to a win in the Shrine Bowl.
