COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina's leading rusher from the 2023 season has entered the transfer portal.
Mario Anderson is on the move after one season in the South Carolina program. He came to Columbia after an All-America career at Newberry College.
This past season, Anderson had 143 carries for 707 yards and three touchdowns. He also caught 22 passes for 153 yards with one touchdown.
Anderson showed an ability to deliver explosive plays, scoring a 75-yard touchdown against Tennessee and a 72-yard touchdown against Vanderbilt.
