A top 20 showdown on the diamond is on tap as the Gamecocks and Tigers seek bragging rights

South Carolina and Clemson are scheduled to play three games in three days in two different cities.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina and Clemson will resume their baseball rivalry this weekend with game one set for Friday night at 7:00 p.m. at Founders Park - weather permitting.

The series shifts to the home of the Columbia Fireflies as Segra Park will be the site for game two with first pitch set for 4:00 p.m.

Clemson's Doug Kingsmore Stadium will be the site for Sunday's game three with first pitch set for 2:00 p.m.

The Gamecocks come in ranked 19th by D1baseball.com with the Tigers checking in at #10.

This will mark Mark Kingston's seventh series with the Tigers who are led by Erik Bakich who is in his second year in charge of the Clemson dugout. He is a former Clemson volunteer assistant so he does have past experience in this rivalry.

Last March, the Gamecocks dropped the series opener but won the series with wins at Fluor Field and Founders Park.
