COLUMBIA, S.C. — In November of 2022, South Carolina went to Florida and was routed by the Gators, failing to score a touchdown in the process.
But in the penultimate game of the regular season, the Gamecocks pulled off one of the biggest upsets in program history, knocking off a Tennessee team which was ranked sixth nationally.
The dominating 63-38 victory was followed up by a 31-30 win at Clemson, closing the book on the 2022 regular season with a pair of headline-grabbng victories.
After Saturday's 44-20 win over a 10th-ranked Texas A&M team, comparisons are being made to what South Caroilna accomplished two years ago. The big difference is there are four games left in November, including a pair of conference games.
Carolina travels to Vanderbilt this week before hosting Missouri next week.
