CLEMSON, S.C. — LaNorris Sellers has officially made himself a part of Gamecock lore as fans will one day recall seeting the South Carolina quarterback deliver one of the greatest individual performances in the history of the Carolina-Clemson rivalry.
The former South Florence star rushed for 166 yards and scored his team's two touchdowns including the go-ahead score with 1:08 left in the game.
But it was how he racked up those statistics which has created so much buzz in the Carolina camp.
Sellers' escapability was on full display as throughout the game as he seemingly was about to be sacked, only to break free and generate positive yards or as in the case of that final scoring drive, a 20-yard touchdown scamper on 3rd and 16 from the Clemson 20.
