COLUMBIA, S.C. — Lamont Paris will be bringing Big Ten flavor to South Carolina's non-conference schedule.

The Gamecocks and Indiana will play a non-conference this season on Saturday, November 16 at Assembly Hall in Bloomington. Tipoff and broadcast information will be released at a later date.

This marks the fourth all-time matchup between the two schools and the first since the meet in the 1998 NABC Classic in Indianapolis.

The Gamecocks played a home-and-home with the Hoosiers in the 1972 and 1973 seasons with Frank McGuire and Bobby Knight meeting courtside.

Carolina won the first matchup, 88-85, at Carolina Coliseum over a top-10 Indiana team on Dec. 22, 1973. The Hoosiers won on their home floor the following year, 84-71, on Dec. 22, 1973 in a showdown of two top-15 teams.

Paris spent seven seasons as a Wisconsin assistant so he is no stranger to facing the Crimson and Cream of Indiana University.
