Columbia, SC (WLTX) --- When the USC equestrian team begins its season next week, it will do so ranked second in the country according to rankings by the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA).
USC is the defending national champion but is ranked behind Georgia, the team the Gamecocks beat for the title.
Carolina's season begins Sept. 25 at South Dakota State. The home opener is October 2 against TCU followed by an SEC meet against Auburn. All home events are held at One Wood Farm in Blythewood.
