Columbia, SC (WLTX) --- The USC women's basketball team has a good chance of being the preseason pick to win the SEC title for the second year in a row since all of its major weapons return and the team added some high-powered recruits.
However, no matter how highly-ranked this team becomes, the team approaches fan-friendly events as a way of continuing to grow the base.
Those efforts have paid off as more than 6,000 season tickets have been sold and nearly 700 of those fans turned out Monday night for the one.Fan-ily Fest at the Colonial Life Arena.
The event allowed those season-ticket holders to pick up their packets, mingle with players and coaches and get a few autographs and pictures.
There was also a Q&A session with the head coach and a shooting demonstration by the players.
