Clemson sees two more Tigers come off the draft board

CLEMSON, S.C. β€” Jackson Carman grew up in Fairfield, Ohio which is roughly 30 minutes from Cincinnati.

Carman is now going home after the Bengals chose him in the second round of the NFL Draft. The former Clemson offensive tackle was the 46th overall selection.

This past season, Carman was named a Second Team All-American according to CBS Sports. As a sophomoree, Carman was a Third Team All-ACC selection.

In the third round, former Clemson receiver Amari Rodgers was chosen by the Green Bay Packers with the 85th overall selection. 

A First Team All-ACC selection in 2020, Rodgers became only the fifth Clemson player since 2000 to record touchdowns by rush, reception and punt return in a career. He ended his ranked sixth in Clemson’s history in career receptions, 12th in career receiving yards and tied for 14th in career receiving touchdowns, as well as ninth in career punt return yards.
