Columbia, SC (WLTX) --- Perhaps it was fitting that Andre Roberts held his football camp Saturday at Fort Jackson.
The former Spring Valley receiver went on to an outstanding career at The Citadel and now that he is in the NFL, Roberts performs a salute after his touchdowns, a nod to the Bulldogs in the Lowcountry.
After four years with Arizona, Roberts has moved a little closer to home, signing in the offseason with Washington, bringing him back to the East Coast.
Roberts was back in the Midlands Saturday for his football camp which was unique in that it was only open to children of military families, further showing his deep appreciation for those who serve in the armed forces.
