SC High School League Commissioner Selected For National Role

The Commissioner of the South Carolina High School League was selected as the president-elect of the upcoming year of the National Federation of State High School Associations.

SC High School League Commissioner, Jerome Singleton, has been selected by the National Federation of State High School Association for president-elect role.

Indianapolis, IN (WLTX) - The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) announced their new officers and board members for the 2016-17 season.

Former Dutch Fork High School assistant principle Jerome Singleton, was selected.

Singleton, who is now the commissioner of the South Carolina High School League (SCHSL), was selected to the position of NFHS president-elect of the upcoming year.

Singleton has served as the SCHSL commissioner since July of 2005. Before that he served as the associate commissioner for 10 years.

Singleton was in charge of administration for football, basketball, track and field, and cross country.
