COLUMBIA, S.C. — The gametime has been set for South Carolina and Clemson's annual rivalry match in the Palmetto Bowl.
The universities announced Monday that they will play Saturday, November 30 at Memorial Stadium in Clemson. The kickoff time will be at 12 p.m.
The Gamecocks and Tigers are both ranked and likely will go into the game both in the top 20, making this one of the more substantial games (fans will likely say every game is substantial in this series) in recent memory. The Gamecocks (7-3) are riding high on a four game win streak including three victories over ranked opponents. Clemson (8-2) is coming off a 24-20 win at Pittsburg.
Both teams are facing in-state, non-conference opponents this coming weekend, with USC taking on Wofford and Clemson playing Citadel.
Clemson leads the all-time series by a 73-43-4 margin, but the Gamecocks posted a 31-30 victory in their last trip to Memorial Stadium in 2022. The Tigers won last year in Columbia by a 16-7 score.
The USC-Clemson game will be broadcast by ESPN.
